Can BIOS be updated after SP2 ?
I have a 5150 that has just had SP2 installed successfully. I've thought about upgrading the video card from a 32MB to a 64MB. My 5150 is an early one with the A01 BIOS which will have to be updated to A23 before installing the new video card. Will I have to remove SP2, install the card then reinstall SP2? Thanks for your advice and help.

Nope . . SP-2 will not interfere with the BIOS flash.

It depends on the Model you have. If you go to Product Support ( top left of this page) and enter your Service Tag Number=, you can navigate to the BIOS downloads and get instructions for your PC there.
