Have you tried reinstalling your printer's drivers?

Yes, I reinstalled the driver for the printer. I forgot to mention that in the first post. I also made sure the print spooler service was set to automatic. I just really don't want to reinstall or repair windows to fix this problem, but i think i might have to.

Well I'm wondering if it was sp3. if it was when you reinstall or repair, it will erase sp3  and you will have to reinstall it again.
