Cannot open my Microsoft Homepage

I'm using Windows XP Home Edition SP2.  IE 6 is my default browser but after removing Firefox browser which I was trying, I cannot get my normal Home Page which was Microsoft.  Instead I get the Home Page from my ISP when clicking on the IE icon on my desktop. Using Tools/Internet Options/Home Page and  writing in 'msn.com' no longer works.

Check mark is still there for "check to see if IE is the default browser".

Something changed when I removed Mozilla Firefox apparently.

gfbrown,

Navigate to the desired page then go into Tools|Internet Options|General Tab and click the "Use Current" for home page. (You need the entire URL including http://.)

Thanks Denny.  Using  http://www.msn.com did work.in the Current box..  That is one combination of address and location in "Home Page" I apparently had not tried.
