Cannot Use or Delete FAX

Question

Installed the Windows fax software, worked fine, used infrequently for several months. Today is will not work, freezes when I click the first NEXT button after printing the document to the FAX printer. Tried to delete the fax so I could re-install. That hung. Now the control panel status shows the fax as DELETING QUOTE. Other systems seem to work ok. I need to use the fax function. Can anyone tell me how to uninstall it so I can re-install?

Have you rebooted yet? If not do so.   Then try this, go to printers and fax's and highlight the Fax, then do a File/delete.

I tried, three times. When I open Printers Faxes, the label on the fax icon says Fax 4 deleting. But it is still there when I open again, even after re-boot. Am I goint ot have to manually uninstall the fax?

Thank you. Figured out the number 4 I say on the title was the number of unsent messages, deleted them, and deleted the device. re-installed and it works fine.
