Can't boot into Safe Mode

I have a Dimension 8100 which is displaying a blue screen error message-Stop 0x7e(oxc05,0xB95434DO,0xF9F88FC8,0xF9F88CC4). I'm running XP Home SP2 and when I try to boot into the Safe Mode, the computer is now freezing on a list of drivers in System 32. I can't get it to continue into Safe Mode. Any one have any ideas?
Thanks

Boot from the Cd and go into the Recovery Console to see if yo have any luck.

Sounds like you have corrupted registry hives. Getting a BSOD C218? Maybe something similar, anyways...  You will need to boot to the OS cd that came with the computer and go into the Recovery Console, press R after windows setup loads.

This website will give you the instructions needed to perform a system restore from inside the recovery console, good luck!

I'll work on that. Thanks very much for the suggestion.
