Can't copy some files off network

XPS M1210 Vista Premium At home, I have a local wireless network. I'm trying to copy a file from a desktop which is running XP Home. When I try to copy this file to my laptop running on Vista, I get a "Destination Folder Access Denied" message. However, this error does not occur all the time. At first, I thought it might be a problem with .exe files, but I've been able to copy some .exe files. So far, no problems with .pdf or .txt files. I'm wondering if it is a size of file issue since the .exe files that I have been able to copy have been relatively small. Thanks for any help.

I had (or have) the same problem.
What I do, is use a program to get from big files a lot of small files.
I'm using hacha, a  free software that allows you to cut a file, and then get it back.
After some WIndows Updates, most of the times works with no problems, but sometimes it happens, very extrange...

If you have 3rd party AV or security software installed Vista, this could be the cause.
