Can't delete old restore dates on D: drive
I have an inspiron desk top running vista. Systems tray tells me my D: drive is full and I need to delete old files. I follow the typical path for doing so and nothing works. Can't free up any space on my D: drive whether I try to uninstall unused programs or delete old restore points. Any suggestions?

Hi
If you are using D:\Recovery for windows backup you can not do that your D:\ is to small for backup .these or the folders that should be in D:\
$recycle,bin is hidden
Dell
program.files
programdata is hidden
sources
system volume information is hidden
tools
users
windows
If you have any other files or folders in the D:\ Rrecovery you have to delete them and stop backing up to that drive the drive full message will go away .
Good Luck
