Can't get into safe mode. HELP!

Question

Trying to log in as guest in safe mode and this message keeps coming up. Windows could not connect to the Sens service. Please consult your system administrator.  I have been having the problem- Administrator account disabled. Didn't have time to back up data and now dell tells me to go in safe mode on guest user account and back up data, but it won't let me.   I have an Inspiron D531 desktop with Vista home premium 32BIT.  If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Searching reveals that some others are also having this problem. The problem has been resolved for some by running the sfc /scannow utility, but to run this, you must be able to log in to an account with administrative privileges.

i don't have administrative permissions. Administrative account disabled. Now i just found out my SENS is not in system, so I can't log into safe mode using a guest account either. I don't know what is going on.

Have a look at this article. There are several different options available to repair Vista or to restore Vista to a point in time before the problems occurred. Note - you must set your computer to boot from the Vista DVD before attempting any of the procedures outlined in the article.
