Can't install VS .NET 2003 Enterprise Architect

Question

Hello all. I am having a problem installing VS .NET on my Inspiron 5100 notebook with XP Pro. Every time I insert the DVD it takes me to prerequisites and installs a program called 'Digital Line Detect' (in Spanish).  I'm caught in an endless loop here.  Same thing happens every time I insert the DVD. Does anybody know how to get passed this?  - Thanks.

I run VS .Net 2003 Enterprise Architecture on an Inspiron 5000, no problems.

Thanks.  I'm wondering if anybode else with an Inspiron 5100 is encountering this problem.  It seems to be related to the Conextant Modem.  I will call MS if I can't find a soultion here.  For now I would like to hear from some more forum members on this issue.

I believe Microsft will without a fee help with installation problems only, call them, I believe they have a toll free number.

Do you have a Conextant D480 MDC v.92 modem?
