Can't open some web sites

Question

Some websites won't open for me. Some jump to another site and others just won't open.  Such as www.nissanusa.com.  Is there something I need to do to change my computer?  Randy

I just browsed to the site in your link and had no trouble. Your help request was rather short on detail -- what browser? what operating system and/or distribution? So my answer is assuming Firefox on Ubuntu 7.04.

The Nissan USA site makes extensive use of Flash. You'll need to install the proprietary non-free flash plugin:

From RestrictedFormats:

Click Applications → Add/Remove. In the top right, change the setting to All available applications. Then select Other in the left panel and then select the Ubuntu restricted extras package. Click OK.

Now, restart firefox and you should be able to view flash content.
