Can't remove Quicken 2004 program.

Question

The program said it was corrupted, and it would not work so I tried to remove it with no success. Went to Add/Remove Programs - even in safe mode - no success. I have a Dell Dimension 8250 - 512mg - 120gb - windows XP - with 80% free space.  I tried to reload the program - must remove other before installing new one. Had Geek Squad here - he was a no go.  Any real help woul be appreciated.

Arrrggh.   Try this utility, read instructions carefully, clean up that quicken installer, then try to uninstall or install again   http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
