Clean install Windows 10

Hi there,

since when I've upgraded Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, my notebook seems much more slow.

I would like to know if there's a way to do a clean installation of Windows 10 without loosing the base partitions used for the "factory restore".

Thank you.

Do in-place upgrade or clean installation. Don't not re-format hard disk when you install a new windows.

No.  Changing  Os versions breaks factory recovery.  You should have made restore usb hard drive BEFORE updating.

You have 30 days to return to windows 8.1 in Settings, Update, Recovery. Do that if your laptop is not on the approved list HERE. If it is on the dell approved list, go to dell downloads and drivers and scan for needed driver updates for 10. Notebook computers need Dell Drivers for windows 10. If none are available, keep win 8.1.
