Client Hyper-V issue

I'm working on a Windows 10 Enterprise 1511 Project.  We are trying to get all of the Enterprise security features working (Credential Guard and Device Guard), so Hyper-V is required to be enabled.

We have 4 different models of Dells that we are using. The Latitude E5530 works just fine.  The Precision T5610, Latitude E6530, OptiPlex 7010 all have the same issue of hanging on reboot.  We are currently working with one example of each.  As far as I can tell, all the systems meet the Windows 10 client Hyper-V requirements.

The issue occurs when a host restart is initiated. Windows goes through the shutdown motions, then the screen goes black and the computer just hangs there.  The power light stays illuminated, and once the screen is black, there are no activity lights. The computer can be forced to turn off and it turns back on with no complaints or errors.

If I disable the Hyper-V role, reboots start working just fine. The issue returns when Hyper-V is re-enabled.

I have updated the BIOS of each machine to the latest version.  Installing the June cumulative update has no effect.  We have tried fresh installs with an unmodified Windows 10 1511 disc.  We are using the Windows 10 drivers from Dell.

Dell chat support was contacted and the agent was no help at all.

Any idea on how to get these systems working properly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

tl;dr Win10 won't reboot with Hyper-V enabled

Did you ever find a solution for this? I am now experiencing this exact issue with Win 10 Enterprise 1607. Trying to enable the security features. I had Hyper V enabled and it was fine, I then enabled the management tools in my Task Sequence during imaging and Now I have the issue. My models are approved, They all have TPM 1.2 - But I can not upgrade it with out causing it to go into a Recovery mode. I also have the most recent updates and the drivers direct from Dell...

Any suggestions if you did get it working would be greatly appreciated

Most of my issues were solved when Dell released a BIOS update that specifically was meant to fix Device Guard on a particular platform.  The BIOS details would state:

Enhancements

- Added the support for Device Guard on Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise OS.

3 out of 4 of my capable systems are working correctly with Device Guard now.

Also, none of my systems ever went to Recovery mode when they weren't working correctly. They just hung on a black screen.

What models are having issues with?
