Clock Synch Problem

Question

It is essential to have my clock accurately record the time and date for business e-mails, etc. My clock loses time daily. However, when I go to Internet Time to synchronize, I get the msg: 'An error occurred while Windows was attempting to synchronize to Internet time'. There is no blinking of the activity light on the cable modem though I am connected to the Internet. I have a Lynksys network router with an NAT firewall, plus antivirus s/w, etc. but this should not be the problem. I used to be able to synch but lately it simply hasn't worked. I have searched all of the support articles but nothing really applies. The download 'Running Time.exe' does not seem to be available any longer but I suspect this is what I am already using behind the clock. Anyone know the solution to this problem? TIA
