Jim..

This will help you with the "how to" part:

You can go through the below which lists each entry alphabetically:

Or you can also try this free program if you wish:

'StartUpLite is a lightweight program that can disable or remove all known unnecessary startup entries from your computer and thus quicken the startup procedure of your system'

Personally..  I don't think it would be a bad idea to try doing it yourself and getting familiar with your system.  It's up to you.  You have both options..

Hope it helps

You're quite welcome, Jim.  Another startup list which will afford you additional information:

If you're feeling really bold, you might want to take a look at how you have your services set up.   The information at the site below should help guide you, if you're interested.  Again.. your choice.

:smileyvery-happy: :smileyvery-happy:   Your  65 y/o head "ain't" that old.    You have plenty of years left to work on it, Jim.  There's always... next year.  OR... even the year after that.   There's no time limit involved.  :smileywink:

Don't know about that, I'm a child of the 50's when a crystal radio was a big deal.

Thank's again Lorac30, but I think my 65 year old head will have to work on this one.

Only someone who remembers transistor radios would call 65 'not that old'.  I'm not too far behind you. :smileywink:    We certainly have come a long way!
