Does anyone have a solution to this?? I used recently re-installed Win2k on my Latitude LS, and the machine is running really slow. On Task Manager it shows the system is using 90% - 100% CPU which is not normal. I noticed that my registry was really fragmented so i went ahead and defragged it, but that did not help at all. I should mention that LS came with WIn2k installed and it used to run fine until now. I should mention that the win2k installation was ridiculously slow as well and took about 4 hours (for the record, I had to install win98se and then upgrade to Win2k, something I've done before with no problem). I should also mention that I've tried reinstalling win2k 3 times, and all 3 times have yield the same faulty results.
I do not see any hardware problems or conflicts.
Please help...I'm not able to find any support subjects on the MS support site.
