Kirk, thanks for replying.   Where do I find the Uninstall page?    It sounds to me like a stupid question but I really don't know.

Thanks again.:smileyhappy:

The list of programs shown on Programs and Features is where you want to be. You originally said you saw the list of programs. Right click on the program you want to delete and a box with UNINSTALL will appear. Click UNINSTALL and the program will be uninstalled.

Just right click on the program name on the uninstall page to get the uninstall option.

I always just save or burn everything important to disk and do a system re-install.

If your computer came with XP then CTRL +F11 at startup. IF you have Vista Pre - Installed then its the F8 key at startup.

If your computer came with XP and you upgraded to VIsta via the upgrade program you will have to re activate your Dell Symantic partition.

Dell computers with Vista preinstalled have the quick restore function installed ....upgrade customers do not. Our computers have the Dell Symantic Quick Restore function which is disabled by Vista. The program is disabled but very fixable. Just download the Goodell Quick Restore ISO image file and burn it to disk. Follow a few simple commands and your quick restore will work perfect returning your computer to factory new specs. here is a link to the file...

http://www.goodells.net/dellrestore/fixes.htm

Download the zip file and open it. Then look for the ISO image file and burn it to disk. Be sure to read the instructions in the zip file.

In this Vista Reality we have its nice to able to CTRL+F11 when necessary...

Its a snap!!
