copying pre-installed software

Hi'ya .. I just wanted to know if it was possible to shift some pre-installed software to a USB external hard-drive? Specifically Norton Ghost. Any info appreciated .. thanks Ali

You can't copy installed programs that have been installed on other drives. You can copy install cd's to hard drives.

Hi .. so even stuff like 'imaging software' doesn't work like that ... hmmm .. I'm confused. I don't get it. So you get Norton Ghost pre- installed on C-drive. Run the program and get an image of C-drive on D-drive but Norton Ghost wont copy itself? Is it like DRM on movie DVDs? Explain please .. I totally don't get it. Ali
