Corrupt/Missing System32\drivers\ntfs.sys - Boot-up Error Message
I own a DELL XPS 400 - OS Windows XP.
About a week ago, I changed the system's hard drive and reinstalled the OS using DELL's Recovery DVD. Additionally, I updated the system by installing the DELL DSS, updating and downloading drivers. However, over the past few days I have been getting a message upon boot-up; the message is "Windows couldn't start because the following is corrupt or missing -- System32\drivers\ntfs.sys. Please insert Windows XP CD and type r to repair."
I am not sure if this issue can be fixed (repaired) using the DELL Recovery CD and how, or if I should reinstall Windows (clean install).
Thank you for your help.

Maximgt,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Try a Repair install by using the Recovery Console. To perform this Repair boot to the XP disk and on one of the screens choose "R" to repair.

Thank you for your response.
If I select "R" to perform a repair, I am prompted to enter a parameter (for the repair sought); in other words, it is not an automated repair.
Thank you for your help.
