CPU Temperature Sensor

I'm wanting to know if anybody knows anything about purchasing, installing, and running a CPU temperature sensor on a dell dimension 4700 with a pentium 4 @ 3.2GHz. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Try this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?DEPA=0&type=&description=hardcano+12&Submit=ENE&Ntk=all&N=0&minPrice=&maxPrice=&Go.x=0&Go.y=0

It's not too expensive, and has lot's of functions. Can control all fan speeds based on temps.

Hey Kirk

That looks like that might do the trick. Are using one of these? I wonder how tight I would be able to get that sensor to the CPU? At least it would give me a reference point.

I haven't seen a Dim 9100 case but I tell you what, this 4700 is a great computer but I hate the case. I've got 2 HDD slide trays and no place to put them and for that sensor... no place to put it! Looks like time for a new case!! Any suggestions? Probably kick the power supply up a notch or two at the same time.. at least to 350W.

Thanks for the info and drop me a line if you want email is in my profile.
