CPU usage at 100%??
Hi, when i start my PC my CPU usage in the task manager is always at 100% even when the computer is doing nothing. I only have 27 processes running. I ran spybot sd and defragged my C:\ drive but that still doesn't help. I can open windows and IE normally but when i wanna play call of duty the gameplay keeps freezing up.
This started happening after i followed the "From reformat to relax" tweak guide at tweaktown.com
I made a restore point before i did those tweaks but when i rolled back to that restore point the cpu usage was still at 100%
My specs are listed below. Once again i only started having this problem this morning after i did those tweaks. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Open Task Manager and see which process is using all the CPU cycles. Once you have identified the culprit someone may be able to provide specific help.

Download and install the driver listed for Dell USB/PS2 here and it should resolve the problem.

try to do msconfig, scan with antispyware, uninstall all unwanted programs, do defrag and scan for viruses. Goodluck!
