Ctrl-C....Ctrl-V Problem

Question

There is probably a very simple solution to this, but I can't think of it. Recently, when I have highlighted a URL to put in the address box I have used Ctrl-C to copy, moved the cursor to the address box, then hit Ctrl-V to copy it up there. Lately when I did this nothing happens. I don't know if I have somehow changed a setting or what is going on. Thank's for any suggestions.   Dale

Ctrl +C was always a little buggy in XP and Vista, not sure why, I found myself hitting C a few times when copying just to be sure it takes.
