DataSafe Online Backup and User Accounts

We've set up Dell DataSafe Online Backup on a business computer and are backing up documents, pictures and financial files. We're now adding a new Windows user account on that computer. Will the backups automatically include the documents, pictures and financial files for the new user, or is the backup specific to a particular user? If the latter is true, what do I need to do to include the new user's files in the backup?

You should not use Datasafe online for your only business backup--or maybe not at all. Make sure you have another local backup plan that you control and is not a subscription that expires--an external hard drive or 2  would be good. Read about Datasafe HERE. Datasafe is limited. You can't store files online. Every time it runs, it overwrites the previous backup. Businesses usually need to keep old versions of files and separate users files.

I don't know where I said that this was our only backup. An external HDD is okay if you want to take it offsite every night or put it in a fireproof safe. Even then a single copy is not sufficient because an on-site catastrophe while the external drive is there could destroy all backups. Multiple offiste copies that are rotated solve most of the problems you describe.

I would still appreciate a response from someone who can answer my question.
