I doubt that will help but it is good to do anyways.. open "my computer" right click your hard drive and then pick properties, click the tools tab and then defragment. It opens a new window with the defragmenter program.. click the drive and select "defragment".. I would definatley scan for viruses online before trying again, try Trendmicro's Free Online scan

na man nortons just saying that so u dont give it back for a refund, its a error on the cd i suggest u go buy a new cd. And De-frag has nothing to do with it
I'm having problems installing Norton Internet Secucurity 2005 AntiSpyware Edidition on my Windows XP Dimension 3000 Series desktop computer. When I try to install it the following message appears : "Setup Error - Norton Internet Security Installation has failed. You can retry or cancel this activity." I have 24.5 GB drive space left on my computer, so thats not the problem. I was told if I defragment my computer, that it may solve the problem. How do I defragment my computer?
