The process is ScsiAccess.exe has to do with alcohol cd support software which i do not use it is also listed as a running service. I have Roxio easy cd creator installed on my computer. Is it ok to go into the registry and delete this strange service?

I am no expert , in fact i ruined ( I think) a good computer trying to figure out how the thing works by deleting. Not a good thing and windows doesn't like it. sounds as though that scsi is something to do with the CONNECTION inside the computer. as in interface. wait for someone with some experience befor you do it.

bob,

You might want to review  this thread. In addition to its use by Alcohol 120%, SCSIAccess is apparently also used by Kodak for support of some of their cameras. It looks benign, and probably not worth worrying about. Generally, the best way to remove an unneeded service is to uninstall the program that installed the service.
