Delete Restore Partition

Can I delete the restore partition? Will it mess up my computer in anyway? Also, if I do delete it, how do I get rid of the part where it says "Dell Factory Image Restore?"

Yes. U can delete the restore partition but you cannot recover back to factory default. No problem, you can reinstall OS from OEM XP/Vista given from DELL.

It's not that easy to reinstall vista. If vista came on your computer, leave the small restore partition alone. It's not hurting anything and you might need it someday.

Hello,
I also deleted my restore partition some time ago. does anyon know how i can set it up again? and how to create the image that goes with the compuer at delivery? i have an inspiron 1720.
thank you very much.

and is it possible to create more of these images and store them for example on some external harddrive?
