Dell Command Update - Download Errors
Hi there,
Using Dell Command Update across multiple models. Downloads for Intel Xe / Iris/ UHD etc. graphics and Realtek audio seem to be failing on every model. Advanced driver store library download is also failing.
Are these known issues?

Also, I'm not sure about with the GUI, but with the CLI, even when you are able to download the CAB file, when pointing dcu-cli.exe to the CAB file, you still get the error regarding "Failed to copy Package to local secure directory" and "Failed to secure CAB/DUP" according to DCU service log. So you essentially can't even work around the issue. At least in my case it has been unsuccessful.

Hi,
it seems to work now. Tried a driver recovery install after Windows 11 Reinstall and DCU (4.5.0) downloaded the 1,4GB file without problems.

I can confirm this. Just tried to update a 5420 without problems.

I attempted re-downloading and reinstalling DCU 4.5.0 again this morning on Windows 10 and 10 LTSC. Both still fail with the same error.

Update: It appears at least the issue with the CAB file downloads has been resolved. I am able to manually point DCU to the CAB file to install the drivers after re-downloading the CAB file.
However, DCU will still fail when trying to let the application download the CAB file and install the drivers.

Is it working for you today? Unable to download 3310 cab drivers.
