You must have select the download manger instead of the download by web browser option. What you will need to do is to clear your browser cache and cookies to reset to show the browser option.
Make sure since you just did a reinstall that you follow the steps HERE on reloading Drivers and such.
Or if that doesn't work (Download Manager has never worked for me!) use Download Manager to get the ID number of the file you want. Then go directly to their download server ftp:\\dell.com. You'll be on the directory page. Choose the device you want the driver for. On that page, use IE>Edit>Find to locate the file you want.Click and go. You can download it to any location you like. This is the only way I can download Dell drivers.
Apearantly, the FORUM didn't like my reply so I'll try again. If that method does not work for you (Dell Download Manager has neverworked for me.), you can use the manager to get the ID number of the driver. The go to treir download server ftp:\\dell.com. The directory page will open. Select the device tou want the driver for. Hop to that page. Open IE>Edit>Find and type in the driver ID number. When you click on the driver, it will download and save to an location you desire. At least that's been my experience.
Good Luck,
FOG Mk
My first version of this (above) did it's own strange formatting thing. If someone can stomp on it please go. I can't get into it w/edit. Mk
