Dell power manager error in update

Question

Upon trying to download the latest version of the Dell Power Manager app on my Inspiron 15 5509, an error window appears which says "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support". Does anyone know how to fix this?

All answers will be very much appreciated.

(I had the HP Smart Print App installed and that was the issue, seen your post when looking for a fix myself)

Just make sure to have windows/drivers updated for good measure.
