Dell Quickset startup mode

I deleted quickset from my startup menu and then replaced it. Upon booting, quickset now fills my screen (although the shortcut says "run minimized") whereas it previously started hidden (in the notification area). How can I get back the old functionality? Is there a command line argument or registry setting for this?
