Dell remote control on XP Pro

The remote that came with my new Dell system is described as "Dell PCIe Hybrid PAL/SECAM/DVB-T TV Tuner with remote control". The above tuner is a Hauppauge HVR-1200 Hybrid DVB-T but there's a big DELL logo on the remote + receiver. I've looked at the Hauppauge website and the remote's not one of theirs.

The remote + receiver work great on Vista, but I was hoping to get it to work on XP Pro as well.

When I plug in the IR Receiver, the Found New Hardware wizard comes up to install drivers for "MCE Infrared Remote Control" but it can't find any drivers (including from Windows Update).

I've tried WindowsXP-KB912024-v2-x86-ENU, R142872 (Dell) and MCE Remote Drivers 5.1.2600.2180 - none of which worked.

What I'm looking for are drivers/software to make this receiver work on XP PRO. I haven't been able to find a model number anywhere but it's listed as a BB+ Dongle (e.d) in XP and, (functioning) in Vista, as:

- Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver

- Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard

- Microsoft eHome MCIR Keyboard

- Microsoft eHome Remote Control Keyboard Keys

  and a couple of HID devices

Here's a photo of the remote + receiver. If anyone knows the model number for it, it'd be a lot of help.
