I installed Windows 8 Pro. I'm facing few issues regarding driver compatibility.
Dell 365 Bluetooth driver is not installing; but I can use the Dell wireless bluetooth mouse. In the mouse, scroll isn't working; connection drops and after moving the mouse, it gets connected.
Synaptics Touchpad driver is installed, Gestures for scroll (Vertical/horizontal) are working, Touchpad icon is shown in notification area; but after double-clicking Touch pad settings is NOT opening; I tried via Control Panel/mouse settings/Dell Touch Pad Settings also.
ST Microelectronics DE351DL Motion Sensor Driver is NOT working.
Will Dell be releasing Windows 8 drivers for Studio 1558 Laptops? If yes, When?
Bluetooth try the Bluetooth 380 Driver here: http://ftp1.dell.com/folder00865420m/1/. Not sure if it'll work with the 375, 370, 365, 360 and 355 modules. If you do install it let me know as its useful information.

Hey man :emotion-2:
I can confirm that the Bluetooth 380 driver you linked works with my Alienware Area 51 365 module on Windows 8 Pro with no issues. :emotion-21:
After installing ATI 12.10 win8 drivers (12-10_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql.exe),
the resolution automatically switches to 1024x768, and display adapter is not recognized by the catalyst driver, everytime i restart the laptop, a catalyst error message appears. and if i try to increase or decrease the display backlit, a BSOD occurs EVERYTIME. So i switched back to ATi Driver version 12.8.
Why Dell is not releasing windows 8 driver support for Studio 1558 Laptops?
Can you please provide me the link for compatible drivers?
I suggest you install Windows 8 pro via a clean install. One thing about Windows 8 is that it includes many drivers already. i.e. many systems don't require any additional drivers to function properly. The check through the device manager is useful. Step 12 here. I will be updating this wiki today.
I didn't upgrade from Win 7, installed win 8 in another partition.
currently, 2 unknown devices are shown in device manager, posting the hardware ids of those unknown devices. and the Touchpad setting is not opening, though the touch pad gestures are working perfectly.
Ricoh Card Reader R5C833 | CardReader R5U230 R243820 is the Windows 7 64 bit driver and should work with Windows 8 64 bit. This driver should fix both base system device errors you posted above.
Install the drivers from Synaptics directly here but keep a eye on this page as likely they will be updated.

For Dell Studio 1558 with Dell 365 Bluetooth module, go to--
support.lenovo.com/.../detail.page
Download & install "Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 Driver"
This perfectly works for me

From the L502X/L702X Dell ST Microelectronics DE351DL Motion Sensor http://ftp1.dell.com/folder00951951m/6/
Synaptics don't even have Windows 8 Drivers: http://www.synaptics.com/resources/drivers however from here: http://techbu.com/2012/08/20/how-to-use-touch-pad-gestures-on-windows-8-rtm-download-generic-synaptics-touchpad-driver The Windows 7 drivers in that link are meant to do the trick.

There is no mention of any Studio models here, so I would guess not... :(
