DELL Support (E) - error

i just reinstalled my OS ( XP HOME EDITION Sp2 ) 1week ago so i had to reinstall all my datas.. in the system traybar.. the icon with the letter (E) i believe its the DELL support program for checking the Security and Maintenance. When i tried clicking on "Security" and then " -> Check Now" it says ' An error occured while checking the channel. please try again later" samething goes for maintenance!

Is there any possible ways to delete the DELL Support program? I just don't want it and it seems useless to me!
