Desktop Settings Problem (98)
Hi all...
Hopefully someone can help, I'm going nuts.
Just got a Creative External the other day, and upon loading the drivers via the CD program that came with the thing, now my desktop settings are all screwy. (Fonts, wallpaper, etc)
I can change it via the desktop controls and do an immediate 'Apply' but they won't save - I keep getting the old scheme every time I reboot.
Thinking perhaps a registry problem? I did run "Hijack This," and it found a problem relating to this which I fixed, but it didn't help.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Yeah, it's a Creative Labs external 56K v92 modem, model DE5621.
Thx,
