Device Manager Sees USB Drive, Explorer Does Not

Question

When new my Vista E521 saw and accessed the external USB hard drive. Now, after a new motherboard, device manage sees the drive, recognizes it, and reports it as working properly. However, Explorer and every application I have tried cannot see the drive. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thank you.

Does it show up in Disk Management? if so what drive letter is it.

Thank you for your suggestion. Disk management showed the drive with no letter associated with it. Adding a drive letter made it visible to Explorer. Thanks again.
