For your reference..... the files that are found on the Resource CD can be downloaded for free from the Dell File Library for most Dell systems.  In some respects the downloads are better since they are generally the latest versions of those files.

Dell is no longer supporting to their fullest extent any computers older than 10 years. They are considered to be end of life units. You may if your lucky still find some support from Dell on some older computers.
