I am still looking for a solution.
I have the same problem and found that I could Enable and Disable using the following steps:
1. Start
2. Right click My Computer
3. Select “Properties”
4. Select “Hardware”
5. Select “Device Manager”
6. Find “Network adaptors”
7. Click the “+” sign to open the folder
8. Right click your adaptor and select either “Enable” or “Disable”
