My mother has the Dell E521 computer and it recently has started showing this error message also.
It will boot up, but it is extremely slow and when I click on my internet browser, it just seems to ignore me. During this time, it seems like it is eternally processing something, though I'm not sure what.
I went into setup (F2 upon startup) and tried to disable Diskette Drive, SATA 0 drive, as well as boot-up features FDD drive and floppy drive. Nothing seems to help - it remains slow as ever.

Do you have a floppy drive in your pc as the error message suggests that the system can't find it.

sidewound,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
You can go into the bios and disable the floppy drive so that you do not get that message.
