DLA (The problem files)

Okay, from what i can tell the problem files are

C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\DLACDBHM.sys

and

C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\DRVMCDB.sys

However by deleting them and removing them from running as drivers in the CD R/DVD Rom driver states theres a problem with Windows and causes it to stop working and have to have the system run the problem checker which then brings the files straight back.

So we need to find a way to remove them or replace them...

Any idea?

Dennis, I too am having the exact same problem on Vista Business on my XPS M1710 laptop. So much for the supposed gazallion hours of testing if someone is reviewing the logs at Dell or the folks at Roxio aren't testing the product as well as this is a fundamental error of a driver not loading.

What worked for me was to use program/uninstall and choose the Drag/Drop Application for Roxio.   You can leave the rest of the Roxio software installed.  Just the Drag and Drop one that has a problem.
