Are you going to be using a port replicator/docking station?  Are you going to be using the IR?  If no to both, then the drivers don't need to be installed.

Don't know what a port replicator/docking station is but I have always used this p.c.at home sitting on coffee table, or kitchen counter and I don't have anything to move but the p.c.  I was just looking at the install guide and before you formatt it said to remove external mice, keyboard, port replicator etc.  I didn't have anything to remove but a cordless mouse (not an infrared) so I suppose I don't need the drivers except the ones that came with my mouse.  Now about the DVD software, do I need that for anything other than movies?  Thanks much  (First time I have ever attempted anything like this)
