Does anybody know about IE 8?
Hi
Why is that IE-8 remain Beta for such a long time?
Is that because it [IE-8] will be an intergral part of the Windows 7 OS like the IE-7 is with Vista OS?
Or once the IE-8 is officially been released, the VISTA's WU will automatically download and install it on a computer?
IE-8 on the windows 7 demonstration looks very good.

Hi, my name’s Cody, and I’m working with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team to help answer questions that users might have about their copies of Internet Explorer.
For the Windows XP and Vista operating systems, Internet Explorer 8 is no longer in beta. It is now considered what is called a “Release Candidate (RC),” meaning that this version is nearly identical to the final version of the browser. Users using the IE8 Beta 2 had their IE8 automatically updated, but if yours didn’t, here’s a link to the download: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/download-ie.aspx?ocid=ie8_sm_b
I hope this was helpful!
Thanks,
Cody
