done tune ups still problems!

I am having trouble mostly with internet sites. sometimes I can get to a site sometimes I can't. Messages like "action cancelled". I have done defrag, scan disk, run virus check and spyware checks.  How do I tell if this is an ISP problem or hard drive?

Sometimes when opening MS Word, the margins will be different from what is preset.

If I do a system restore I loose all my banking information. That is a pain. Will I also loose any new Word documents I have created?

Any suggestions?

If you do a system restore you will NOT lose ANY data.

Hi,

Remember you may need to re-install programs for them to work if they were installed after the reestore point you reverted to.  Also read some of these fixes for IE errors, may help:  http://www.generation.net/~hleboeuf/canotofd.htm

Will a restore help if spyware is the problem?

Right now I can't get to my banks web site. The page loads saying "done" and it's blank.

Try lowering checking your security settings.  See if security options are checked. Seems it is secure sites you are having issues with.  Some secure sites also need cookies to identify with you.
