DOS COMMAND 'winipcfg'

Question

Would appreciate it if someone could tell me what's the DOS Command to key in the 'Start/Run' box to display the PC IP address as in 'winipcfg' for Win98, Win98SE, WinNT4 or ME2K.  I'm using a DIM4300, A06, 512MB on a XP OS. When I tried to activate the above command, the system displayed 'Windows cannot find 'winipcfg'.  Make sure you typed the name correctly.... blah...blah...'.  Thanks.   Ronnie

Ronnie, It's 'ipconfig', and is text mode only, so needs to be run from a command.com or cmd.exe window, depending on which OS you're dealing with. ipconfig /all shows status for all active adapters, as well as additional detail. Jim
