Downgrading Vista to XP
Hello, I've just recieved this Laptop: http://www.bestbuy.com/olspage.jsp?id=1206749396606&skuId=8814633&type=product
pre installed with Vista.
And have bought a copy of Windows XP professional, before I install I would like to know will this be compatible with my Laptop? Should I download some divers(preferably the wifi netowrk card driver(I will be connecting to a wifi router which I already have) just in case?

Since Windows XP will have nearly none of the drivers for that machine, you will need to find, download, and have ready XP compatible drivers for all devices, including the chipset drivers, notebook system software, and drivers for the ethernet network controller, wireless network adapter, touchpad, audio, and video. In addition you will need the Dell Quickset utility.
The chipset drivers and notebook system software MUST be installed before installing any other devices.

I strongly recommend that you run Belarc Advisor from www.belarc.com to get an inventory of your system BEFORE you uninstall Vista, so that you will know precisely which drivers you need.

Ok, so after I install XP, I should plugin my flash drive and install the chipset and notebook system driver first? Then the rest?
And with the Belarc advisor, can't I post them here so you could tell me which ones I need?
EDIT: I can't find any XP drivers for this machine

Actually I found a whole bundle of them.... But no notebook system driver
