download python2.5

Question

My laptop is adm64 inspiron 1501 windows xp.  I had python2.5 on it and had a problem so i uninstalled it so i could reinstall it from the python website.    It started but then told me it did not recognise the publisher, as i had used it before i ran with it, but then i got a message saying idle cant bind tcp/ip port 8833, which is necessary to communicate with its python execution server. Either no networking is installed onthis computer or another process(another idle) is using the port.  Run idle with n command line switch to start without a subproces and refer to help/idle help 'running without a subprocess' for further details. I Havent a clue what to do.   what is the tag at the bottom of this page for?

HERE is the Python web site.  They have a notice that there was a bug in 2.5 and to download and install the 2.5.1 version.  There is also instructions there on installing it.
