     I had some stubborn files that Disc cleanup won't remove.  Delete by sending the file to the recycle bin.  If you use Internet Washer it will be permanent.  I am sure that if you remove the ActiveX files, some things will not work.

if you already uninstalled the window washer program, (there seems to be a lot of programs called window washer).. i think people are reluctant to answer because we really don't know.. if you want to, try uninstalling it, the active x control in "downloaded program files". i don't think it will cause a problem..

Thanks. I guess I should have been more specific about the Internet Washer: it was downloaded accidently and definitely not wanted. I actually used AdAware to get rid of it but was left with this Active X Control that I want to get rid of. Thanks again.
