Downloaded Program Files Problem

In "C:\ WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files", I have 44 objects. There are 8 objects titled "Java Runtime Environments" The statis of these is listed as "Installed".

The Status of of the remaining 36 objects  is listed as Damaged. Is this normal? If not, should I delete all of the files? What do I need to do about this? Frankm

Run a disk cleanup and select dowloaded program files to be cleaned up, and any others you wish to be cleaned.

I would delete all of the java entries.

I would than run ccleaner, use the registry button to remove any invalid registry entgries (use the back up feature just in case),than use the cleaner button.

I suggest selecting the slim build which has no yahoo tool bar and is english only.

Reboot, install Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 3

I can't suggest you delete them cause I don't know what they are.
