Driver blocked due to incompatibility. DLA??

Question

Ok, here is what I get when I open (start up) the computer.  The 'FIRST CLICK' of the mouse opens this message in the lower right hand corner.  The then box I get is the following:   FIRST MESSAGE:  Driver blocked due to incompatibility.  A driver installed that causes stability problems with your system.  This driver will be disabled.  Please contact the driver manufactory for an update that is compatible with this version of windows.   SECOND MESSAGE:  Driver Sonic Solutions DLA                                        Publisher Sonic Solutions                                        location not available Check on line to see if solutions are available from Microsoft Web site.   I did this and found info on the 'DLA', BUT I did not understand what I was reading or what I should do with it?

hey there, check the section above - there is a message 'a fix for Sonic DLA error...'  - they have a couple fixes.    I will try to enter the link here:  http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=vista&thread.id=8536    Good luck.

Just uninstall dla. You no longer need it and you should have uninstalled before Vista. Uninstall everything that says Sonic.

The patch worked for me.  No more messages regarding 'Driver blocked due to incompatibility.
