Driver downloads - from Dell, XP Pro system
When attempting to download driver updates several popups warn that the "Publisher is Unknown, etc.".
Does this mean anything since apparently the downloads are approved and/or provided by Dell?

It does'nt matter. it only means that Microsoft has not certified it. Every driver cannot be checked and verified by Microsoft.So thats ok. All you need to do is -
Right click on My computer and click on properties
Then click on Hardware and then Driver Signing
Choose- Ignore-Install the software anyway don't ask for my approval
Issue fixed
