echo 'blacklist bcm43xx' | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
3. Download the Windows driver for your card
Go to support.dell.com and download the appropriate Windows driver for your TrueMobile card (should be something like R123456.EXE). Save this in the /tmp directory cd into the /tmp directory, and unzip the Windows driver package
cd /tmp
unzip R123456.EXE (or whatever the name of the download is)
4. Install the Windows driver with ndiswrapper
Run the following command to load the driver
sudo ndiswrapper -i /tmp/DRIVER/bcmwl5.inf
Verify that the driver has been loaded
ndiswrapper -l
The output of this command should look like the following if it is loaded correctly
Installed ndis drivers:
{name of driver} driver present, hardware present
or
{name of driver} : driver installed
device ({Chipset ID}) present
Intel Management Engine Interface, this should be native to Windows 8.1 if not you will need to install the WIndows 7 driver: http://ftp.dell.com/chipset/R292194.exe

For the Inspiron N5110:
Chipset (get directly from Intel): https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&keyword=intel%20chipset%20Software%20Installation%20Utility
Intel Management Engine Interface, this should be native to Windows 8.1 if not you will need to install the WIndows 7 driver: http://ftp.dell.com/chipset/R292194.exe
USB 3.0 natively supported in Windows 8.0/8.1.
Realtek RTS5138 try the RTS5179 driver for the Inspiron 5520: http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER01721172M/1/Chipset_Driver_65JF8_WN_6.2.9200.39052_A01.EXE
If not install the Windows 7 driver: http://ftp.dell.com/chipset/R292473.exe
Realtek Ethernet Controller take from the Inspiron 5520 which has a 8.1 driver:
http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER01687117M/2/LOM_Realtek_W8.1_A00_Setup-0XCVW_ZPE.exe
There is only a Windows 8.0 card for the 1702 card but should work fine with 8.1:
8×86, 8×64: http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER01025315M/5/DW1702_W8_X01_A01_Setup-3K92G_ZPE.exe 10.0.0.216 8.0.0.214
However it is a Atheros Card and you may get a later version here: Unofficial Czech Atheros Driver Website
Quickset, the installer is locked to install on certain systems and a newer version will not install on your system. You may install the Windows 7 version but likely it does not work 100 % properly: http://ftp.dell.com/app/R314287.exe

Most of the hardware for the Inspiron 3537 is the same as the Latitude 3540 which has Windows 7 drivers. So therefore install the following:
Intel Lynx Point-LP Chipset: http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER01645351M/1/3540_Chipset_Driver_9MW60_WN_9.4.0.1017_A00.EXE
Intel Management Engine Interface Driver: http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER01779921M/2/iMEI_Intel_W74_X00_A01_Setup-68C64_ZPE.exe
Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver: http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER01641686M/5/AHCI_Intel_W7_X02_A00_Setup-PFN0K_ZPE.exe
Hopefully this should also cover the USB 3.0 devices as they are coming up as Intel for the hardware ID.
Realtek RTS5179 Card Reader: http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER01645515M/1/3540_System-Utilities_Driver_C8G17_WN_6.2.9200.39042_A00.EXE

Dell Quickset (Windows 8.1 version, may install): http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER01504074M/1/Application_RY0G4_WN_10.15.018_A00.EXE
